ESPERO QUE SIRVA CON TODAS LAS DE LA SERIE X#### MAÑANA PONDRE LA VERSION EN ESPAÑOL. What a slog that was. Would have been easy enough IF I could have found the elusive tar file. It 404′d at the Lexmark website and took myself and a friend over 30 minutes of Googling to find (Thanks Marc!). Here are the instructions, step-by-step, for adding your Lexmark X1270 printer under Kubuntu: 1. Download CJLZ600LE-CUPS-1.0-1.tar.gz - it is the CUPS driver for RedHat 9.0. Note that it will ONLY power the printer, the scanner will not function under linux (yet). 2. Untar and unzip this file using: $ tar -zxvf CJLZ600LE-CUPS-1.0-1.TAR.gz You will end up with a file called: z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh 3. Extract the .rpm part of this file using: $ sh z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh -keep this will create a sub-directory called “installer” under the current directory, and put a whole lot of files in it. Encontré en la forma de instalar mi Lexmark X1270, y mi X2470 en Linux, así: Todos los que alguna vez hemos buscado como instalar las impresoras Lexmark hemos tardado mucho tiempo en lograr encontrar un sitio en donde encontremos la forma. bueno pues yo ya lo encontre. y aqui estan las instrucciones. 1. descargate el alien, $ sudo apt-get install alien 2. descarga los siguientes paquetes: CJLZ600LE-CUPS-1.0-1.tar.gz  (para la impresora)  3. descomprime el archivo .tar      $ tar -zxvf CJLZ600LE-CUPS-1.0-1.TAR.gz 4.  esto generara un archivo como el siguiente:    z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh 5. Extrae  .rpm $ sh z600cups-1.0-1.gz.sh -keep esto creara un subdirectorio llamado "installer" alli encontraras dos archivos: z600cups-1.0-1.i386.rpm, y z600llpddk-2.0-1.i386.rpm 6. entras al directorio "intaller"      $ cd installer  7. ahora con el alien convertimos los rpm a .deb para poderlos instalar.   $ sudo alien z600cups-1.0-1.i386.rpm $ sudo alien z600llpddk-2.0-1.i386.rpm es...
